Hey there,

I am Wayne Cresser!

A storyteller specializing in the short narrative forms. I live on the island of Jamestown in Narragansett Bay with my wife and dog, and many of the places on the island serve as a backdrop for my fiction.

My writing is known for its genuine and relatable prose, exploring the bonds of family, friendship, resilience, identity, and love. Through these stories, I aim to examine a singular life and explore the profound impact of human connections. The life of protagonist Norman Winters is one of self-discovery that he undertakes alongside the characters that cross his path from childhood through adulthood and beyond.

My Treasured Words

The moon and stars in the rafters spun crazily now. Stars streaked by him and burned out. Cosmic dust hung in the air, and he recalled a dream or found himself back in the dream. He couldn’t tell.
